What's happening?

Users are able to access and submit customer surveys through previously distributed survey links. There is a requirement to disable these survey links so that users can no longer access or submit responses.

Reason:

The survey links remain active due to the default or previously configured survey distribution settings in Dynamics 365 Customer Voice.

Resolution:

To disable customer survey links in Dynamics 365 Customer Voice so that users can no longer access or submit surveys, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the desired Dynamics 365 Customer Voice Survey.
  2. Go to the Send tab, open Customization pane available on to the right-hand side, select Distribution settings >Availability
  3. Locate the option labeled Disable survey links.
  4. Specify whether to block responses from older personalized links. By default, this setting is turned off. If you want to block responses, turn on this setting and enter a number of days in the Disable after field. By default, the value is set to 30.
