What's happening?

Tasks activity is automatically getting closed without manual intervention.

Reason:

If SSS (Server-Side Synchronization) is enabled, tasks may automatically complete. Additionally, tasks with an actual end date set in the past may also automatically close.

Resolution:

  • Verify if Server-Side Synchronization (SSS) is enabled. If enabled, tasks will automatically complete.

Check the actual end date of the task:

  • If the actual end date is set in the future, tasks should ideally remain active.
  • If the actual end date is in the past, tasks may automatically close.

Confirm the behavior when reactivating the task:

  • Reactivate the task and monitor if it remains active after an hour or two.

Confirm how the task activity was created:

  • Determine if the task was created from quick create, directly from the main entity, or from any parent entity.
