What's happening?
Business users with Dynamics 365 Sales licenses want to utilize the Schedule Board feature to visualize activities users are working on, but they do not have licenses for Customer Service, Field Service, or Project Operations.
Reason:
The Schedule Board feature is natively available only for users licensed for Customer Service, Field Service, or Project Operations applications. Users with only Dynamics 365 Sales licenses do not have native access to this feature.

To use the Schedule Board feature, the following prerequisites must be met:

While the Resource Scheduling application may be accessible without additional licenses, many essential features and tables are tied directly to the Customer Service, Field Service, or Project Operations licenses. Without these licenses, users will encounter limitations and will not have full functionality or access to the Schedule Board.User Role:
Users must have the Resource Scheduling security role assigned to their account to manage the solution after deployment.
