What’s happening?

In Project Service Automation, when clicking on a new time entry, users receive the error: "The setting record for Project Service Automation related time entries could not be retrieved. Please contact the administrator to resolve." 

Reason:

This can occur due to missing project parameters.

Resolution:

Verify the project parameter record is present and accessible in Project Service Automation. Instructions for creating project parameters can be found here: Configure additional parameters settings
