What’s happening?
Users intermittently experience an issue where the name fields on the contact form become uneditable or disappear when adding an existing contact to an existing account in Dynamics 365.
Reason:
This may be related to intermittent data syncing problems within Dynamics 365.
Resolution:
To resolve this, follow these specific troubleshooting steps:
- Perform a hard refresh (Ctrl + F5) when the issue occurs to see if it resolves temporarily.
- If the issue persists, remove the name fields from the form, publish the changes, then re-add the name fields and publish the form again.
- If the issue continues after the above steps, create a completely new form and use it for your application.
