What's happening?

When configuring a workflow in Dynamics 365, the system allows saving the workflow step. However, upon attempting to reopen the workflow step for editing, the following error is encountered: "Requested record was not found or you do not have sufficient permissions to view it."

Reason:

This behavior occurs because the user associated with the workflow step does not exist in the environment.

Resolution:

Verify if the user associated with the workflow step exists in your environment. If the user does not exist, assign the workflow step to an existing user.
