What's happening?
Users are experiencing issues where certain posts or are not visible in the Dynamics 365 timeline.
Reason:
This can occur if the entity related to the post is not activated in the Activity Feeds configuration.
Resolution:
To resolve posts not appearing in the timeline, follow these steps:
- Navigate to Advanced Settings in Dynamics 365.
- Go to Activity Feeds Configuration.
- Confirm the affected entity has a status of "Active". If it is inactive, open that entity and activate it.
- Browse to Activity Feed Rules and confirm the rule corresponding to the action that should auto post is in an "Active" state. If it is inactive, open that rule and activate it.
- If any changes are made to these configurations, the entity must be published to take effect.
