What’s happening?

Duplicate work orders are being created in Dynamics 365 Field Service. 

Reason:

When Dynamics 365 generates a large number of entities simultaneously, such as work orders through multiple agreements or custom automation, delays can cause issues with incremental numbering. 

Resolution:

To resolve the duplication issues, enable auto-numbering in Dynamics 365 Field Service settings. Auto-numbering ensures records receive unique naming and reduces gaps in entity names, as they are created upon saving a record.
