What’s happening?
After configuring visitor location detection in a chatbot workstream, the user's location details are not being captured or displayed to the agent.
Reason:
The Bing Map API key was created in a different tenant than the one used by the customer service application, causing the chatbot to fail in detecting the user's location.
Resolution:
Ensure the Bing Map API key is created and configured within the same tenant as the customer service application. After updating the configuration with the correct API key from the same tenant, verify the functionality again.
