Hi,
I have been trying to use the Premium Connector "Convert Word Document to PDF" but it seems to be completely unusuable.
It does not matter whether it is a document on OneDrive or SharePoint.
Since providing a static file path, I permutated trough different document references to try to coerce it into obedience, but failed every time.
I have tried to give it as a file reference, on both SharePoint and OneDrive for Business:
Id
FileID
Path
Document Contents
Dynamic Content
Static file path
A static file name selected in the action's file browser. (This should work - it says "select a word through the file browser")
In all cases, I get the error:
{
"status": 400,
"message": "The selected file doesn't exist, please select a valid file and drive.\r\nclientRequestId: XXXX(uuid removed)XXXX",
"error": {
"message": "The selected file doesn't exist, please select a valid file and drive."
},
"source": "wordonlinebusiness-eus.azconn-eus-01.p.azurewebsites.net"
}
I have already opened a support ticket, and together with Power Automate Support, we have been unable to make it work - at all.
I would to share experiences and know about success stories or frustrations with the "Convert Word Document to PDF" Connector.
I know about the venue to convert documents to PDF using OneDrive. (it is still on preview , but seems to work)
However, as a matter of data governance and SOPs, being able to convert the document using sharepoint , without creating a document copy of a controlled document on the user's personal OneDrive, is more desirable, and/or required for compliance.
Please share experiences, have you managed to make it work?
