Send reminder email on due date of task

I am trying to create a workflow where once an item is created, the next action is to start and wait for an approval. If by the due date of the item (entered in SharePoint) the approver hasn't responded to the original approval notification yet - then on the due date of the item a reminder email will go out to the approver to respond to the approval notification.

Does anyone know how I can configure this?

Your email reminder will run in parallel with your Start and wait for an approval action, with a Delay Action before and after the Do Until.
