Hello All
We are looking into creating a content management related power app where we want to first allow the users to create a content type, lets say- product. The fields in the product type can be of different data types like- string, date Time, integer, float etc.
The content type creation flow can probably be a drop drown triggered where the user can select the name of the field, the type of the field and then the value.
Once the user configures fields of a type, then we can call an Api to store the content type configuration. We have a custom connector that stores the data in the backend. (not CDS).
Now Imagine users creating multiple such content types. Once we have the types created, users can add records to the types. For example- actual products corresponding to the product data type.
For the interface related to the records, we need to generate the power app controls based on the content types. A user can select one content type from the multiple types existing in the system. Once the content type is selected, the UX needs to be dynamically generated. For ex- for product, we want to show all the fields that are defined in the content type. For dates- we might want to show a datetime picker. For a field, where the user can only select from one of the possible values, we might want to show a drown down control.
Is there any documentation or a sample that we can use to get started on this. (Assuming this is possible)
Appreciate some help or pointers on this.
