CAN not find the excel file in sharepoint

I want to build an app from scratch, where the user can enter data into the powerapp and the data can be sored in an excel file on a sharepoint.

 

I started with a new app design (online) and already loaded a excelfile in my sharepoint site. when I try to import this file, I can see the sharepoint, bot clicking on it does not result in anything. if i put the same file into ONEDRIVE, i can see it? What am I doing wrong? The link to the sharepoint document folder is correct. i even tried to input direct link to the file.

    Hi @Anonymous,

     

    So far you cannot use excel table stored in SharePoint library as data source. You could use the whole library as the data source but won't be able to access the data inside each file. 

    But there is an idea submitted on this:

    Sharepoint Folder as datasource

    Status changed to Planned, which means this would be added in the near future.
