Sending an Email based upon date in calendar event

morning all,

wondering if anyone is able to help. I have a flow running that takes the responses of Pupils at a school and depending on which year group is selected in the list of responses will result in the head of year for that Year group being contacted. however. we are needing to send these to a different email address over school holidays so any issues are addressed.

so I thought of adding a second condition say send it to the head year unless there is a calendar event showing a school holiday and pointing it to a calendar with these dates in but not sure how this would link up?
