I use retrieve email messages from outlook and want to save these attachments in different folders, but I find the attachments are saved in the same folder.

How can I solve it?

    Hi @olinaying

Since you have specified the variable in the save attachments into field, so it will save attachments to that folder specified under that variable.

So if want to save attachments under different folder, make sure that you are iterating that variable , instead of fixing it with constant variable value 🙂

    Hope it helps

Or you can iterate it after. So, if you retrieve emails and all attachments go to that folder, think of that as a staging area, and as you process each email, you can move the attachments. A simple example would look like this:

Retrieve Emails (with attachments saved to %Staging%
    For Each %CurrentItem% in %RetrievedEmails%
Switch %CurrentItem. From% (note, this is the wrong syntax, but you get the idea, it’s something like .”[From]” - there are lots of a

    posts on it.)

            Case *aol.Com

                Set %SaveFolder% to C://AOL

            Case *IBM.com

                Set %SaveFolder% to C://IBM
        Move File %CurrentItem.Attachments% to %SaveFolder%

    End (for each)

    good luck
