How to convert one text string into another, modified text string?

Ok.  What I want is to input a string, for example "1234AB5678" and have it output as "A-1234AB5678".  This seems like it should be simple but I'm having a heck of a time with it.  Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Edit:  Nevermind, it's a simple Concatenate function.

    Hi

Does the conversion have any formula or rule? Or do you want just to add  'A-' behing the input?

So just to clarify the answer for anyone else reading this, the formula would be:

    Concatenate("A-", "1234AB5678")

or alternatively, this would work too:

    "A-" & "1234AB5678"
