Hello 🤗

can you help with this problem i have to submit button in my webform but i want to control it , make like condition if not true i want the page not load out and nothing change if it's true submit like usually

submit == Envoyer

Hi @MO4,

I think the easiest way will be to deactivate button until proper conditions. So the user will see the button but will not be able to press. You can use jQuery to do so. First, you need to find the id of the submit button and use the next code to deactivate/activate it:

// Disable #x $( "#x" ).prop( "disabled", true ); // Enable #x $( "#x" ).prop( "disabled", false );

You can use onchange event of the field that use in condition to make enabling/disabling of submit button automatic.

thanks 😉 i think of this solution , but the problem that i want to make like alert pop up message to show the user where is the problem when they click submit button
i will use this solution if there is any other suggestion please feel free to help me

@MO4 if you want to show the error and don't allow submit you can use client-side validation with page validators (see official docs).
