Emailing list of names

Hi,

I have a form where people can input data to populate a share point list. I have a second fixed sharepoint list of managers, I would like for them to be able request the filtered list of data submitted for them today. I.e. Manager manually requests the data for their area sent in today only, data is sent to a predefined list of managers/supervisors as a tabulated list.

I have been able to do this as individual emails however can't get it as a single email, please could someone shed some light on this for me?

Mnay thanks for your help,

I have the same question (0)

    Hi,

I have continued to play with this and have prepared the below. The OData filter doesn't seem to be working. The flow is triggered by a from being submitted to request the relevant data. I then fetch the list of email addresses and the actual data being requested. Then using OData to filter out the non applicable rows and then send an email however something is wrong with the filter section - please could somebody shed some light on what is wrong here?

    Hi @Simon12

Couple of questions? When the forms are collected is the response contains the email you want to filter? Could you please explain a little bit further about the scenario. Yes you mentioned about filter but can't see anything from the screenshot.

    Thanks

    Re: Emailing list of names
    Hi,

Thank you for your message and help with this. The form collects the users name, department and some other tick box items (that are used to generate statistics on a dashboard and not used in this flow) the information is stored in a share point list (called unit attendance). I have got a separate share point data base of manager's name and email addresses (called list of units). What I would like to do with a separate form is allow the managers to request details of who has submitted their tick box details on a particular date and from a particular department and email all of the managers listed on the second share point database for that department the list of names of people who have replied.

For example, 5 people from the HR department complete the survey. A HR manager then requests the data for that day and all the HR managers listed on the share point data base are emailed the names of the 5 responders however not told about any other names from other departments who also responded on that day.

The filtered details are the departments and the dates.

    Hi @Simon12

Thanks for the screenshare. Following are the steps to resolve the solution.

    1. Filter the SharePoint list by Department name

    2. Filter array to filter by Date

    3. Filter the Email List by Department name

(Add a variable, Append variable to get all the emails)

    4. Select action to select the column names

    5. Create HTML table

    6. Send email action step to send email

    Thanks
