Hi @darkhorse12
"when email arrives , i want Receipt # number , and save in one-drive with #number"
Looks like you are looking for a solution in Power Automate (Cloud Flows). Is it?
But this is a Power Automate Desktop (Desktop Flows) forum....so which one are you looking for?
For Cloud Flows there is a trigger called as "when an email arrives".
Go to the Templates section of the Cloud flow tool (flow.microsoft.com) and search for a template that says something with Save email attachments to OneDrive.
You will get a readymade template to achieve this.
yes in power automate cloud flow, i have trigger that, but want an expression to get the#number.
ok you will get more help there 🙂 but
Split is perfect. the 2nd element will be the one you need.
Is the above working for you?
No , I will get that text but i have get also whole text, and i want only #(number)
Can you show screenshots of what are you getting in the compose
and also the output of the Split function.
If the receipt number is going to be 6 digits then you can use substring on the above output of compose 2 and grab the first six digits?
I don't know , i am new at this, can you please suggest me or give me expression code?
Use another compose statement
substring(<composeoutput>,0,5)
In the place of the blue color, drag the output coming from Compose 2 using the dynamic content.
I think it starts from 0. If not then use 1 to 6.
Share the output of the new compose statement just explained above.
