'Invalid operation: division by zero' If Fields Are Blank

Hi all,

I am trying to patch a record even if not all data is provided by the user.

Users should be able to change status of the record and add a comment without providing any values. Since input values are being calculated (i.e. divided), if I leave empty input fields I get the 'Invalid operation: division by zero' error.

I've tried with the IfError function, but it didn't work. Not sure if I used it correctly.

Here is what I tried:

If(
 IfError(Value(txtInputNumber1.Text) / Value(txtInputNumber2.Text), 0),
 Patch(...

Any suggestion or help is more than appreciated.

I made a mistake. Instead of providing IfError at the beginning of the formula, I should used it only for that particular column for which calculation happens. So, I moved the formula:
IfError(Value(txtInputNumber1.Text) / Value(txtInputNumber2.Text), 0)

to the part where I patch that record:
Patch(... 'KPI Calculation': If(LookUp(KPIS, KPI = kpiItem.KPI, 'KPI Name' = "Cost incurred"), IfError(Value(txtInputNumber1.Text) / Value(txtInputNumber2.Text), 0), ...

It's working now!
