Hi, guys as I tried to follow a youtube tutorial teaching about Excel Automation by using Power Automation (from this link: https://www.youtube.com/watchv=Xtc3bHcDrW4&list=PLWzScz16kotvnTZ6mDJeAOHko5JGV9qcZ&index=4&t=539s&ab_channel=AndersJensen).

I made sure, I got every single step right as the video instructed.

However, on the Populate Text field which is using the Excel Data, I got an error, mentioning that the Text to fill-in' must be 'Encryptable object' as attached.

Please let me know if you guys got any clue.

The problem is that you are trying to pass a Datatabel to populate text field.
If you read more than one cell from excel, it will be returned as a Datatable.
and that will give you the following error

If you select an item in the datatabel it works fine

You can also add %''% before or after the variable that you're inserting, and the error should disappear.

I tried as you instructed, It is working like a charm.
However, as you mentioned the string only allows PA to write a single line of cell. But I wanted to automate the whole range of cells in the Table. Please, enlighten me, savior!!!!

Yes, I finally understand what you mean, it took me a while to go around the issue hahaha.

I just need to change the Populate text field to '%ExcelData%' instead of %ExcelData%.

Does that not add single-quote symbols before and after your data? 👀
