List entries not showing

Hi,

I can add new entires to a SharePoint list via PowerApps.

However when I try to edit entries in the list PowerApps does not show new entries. If I select on older one it shows the details and I can edit it.

I know the entry has been added to the list - I can see it in SharePoint - however I can not get it to show in PowerApps.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Phil

    Refresh your datasource.

If you collect it in the new In-app collection then re-collect it.

    Thanks for the reply.

It's a while since I built this solution so can you remind me how to refresh the data source please.

I doubt I use the In-app collection - can you point me to the documentation about that and I will take a look.

    Thank you.

On your submit button's OnSelect property :

    Refresh(YourDataSource);

    Documentation about collections :

    Hi,

refresh didn't do the trick. I get the message:

    "No item to display"

    Thanks for the documentation link.

Can you paste the Items property here.

Sorry Gochix I am not sure what you mean. Which property?

As you said you get a message "No item to display" so I'm assuming you are displaying data in a gallery/ displayform/ editform?

You have an Item property for all of them:

    OK, it is:

    If(parties="new",Last(MatterContact),ClaimantGallery.Selected)

I believe you have to mention something specific in:

    If(parties="new"

So it would look something like:

    If(parties.Status="new",Last(MatterContact),ClaimantGallery.Selected)

Is "parties" a SharePoint list directly connected with PowerApps or is it a IN-APP collection collected from another collection?

    Hi,

no - "parties" is just a variable it is not a list.

It definitely has something to do with the fact that older entries show up but newer items do not. I can't say precisely when it stopped showing newer entires. I wonder if it was soemthing to do with a limit of home many records it can read?

    Thanks again,

    Phil
