Is there an easy way to return label values for CDS lookup or option sets?

I just switched from using Dynamics 365 actions to CDS actions and it's not all rosy.  For example, the D365 action always had a "_label" value when querying a lookup or option set record.  Now, we only get a the internal ID value.  Such omission, makes it nearly impossible to work with large datasets and a nice HTML table. I'm now forced to create a a ton of loops or switches, etc...

Is there an easy to get the label values instead of getting, 100,000,002, or 100,00,003?

If Microsoft wants their users to stop using D365 action, I hope there is a real plan to make things equivalent, not going backwards... it worries me.

    Hello,
Honestly I would use D365 if I needed to. Microsoft will usually disable being able to choose the connector well before they totally deprecate it.

    Hi @testasdfasfsafa,

You could create a Get record action and input return label value of the LookUp column, the Entity name should be the related entity:

I understand the ability to return the look up values by further querying, but that means adding a ton of additional queries for each long tables I'm using... that is crazy!!  I have flow that provides quick email based reports in HTML tables with dozen of fields.

Querying every lookup field labels will create a ton more complexity...not the main goal behind Power Automate to be a citizen developer tool.

MS must allow CDS actions to return the "Label" value of an option set.
