We have multiple Canvas apps embedded within a SharePoint (online) site.
Users access the SharePoint site for the articles, FAQs, and use the embedded Canvas apps to raise requests. Users access the SharePoint site on their iPhones using Edge browser. COA policies do not allow use of other browsers.
Some users are facing the below error when the Canvas Apps loads.
Power Apps requires cookies to be enabled. Please enable them in your browser and refresh your browser.
As per documentation at https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/troubleshoot/power-platform/power-apps/isolate-and-troubleshoot-common-issues/troubleshooting-startup-issues?tabs=microsoft-edge , we have the following settings enabled:
- All cookies allowed on the Edge app.
- Cross website tracking allowed in iOS settings for the Edge app.
The canvas apps are embedded using the Embed option in SharePoint.
Strangely enough, using the Microsoft PowerApps webpart solves the issue, but this is a PREVIEW feature. And we do NOT want to use it in PRODUCTION.
PS: Using the Power Apps mobile app is not an option. Neither is MS Teams with Power Apps. Since we foresee 20+ such apps being embedded strategically through the SharePoint site.
