Performace of a gallery with user images: Office 365 connector and LookUp

Hi all!
I have a gallery within my booking app, which connected to a collection, say "colDesks" for displaying users' images placed on an office plan. I have another collection "colReservations" to store all users' reservations. The Image property of an image control within this gallery looks up the desk ID and looks for a user who reserved the desk (ReservedBy column = user email) and displays user's pictures:

If(!IsBlank(LookUp(colDeskReservations,Desk_ID=ThisItem.ID,ReservedBy)), Office365Users.UserPhotoV2(LookUp(colDeskReservations,Desk_ID=ThisItem.ID,ReservedBy)), ProfileThumbnail)

Unfortunately, the performance of this formula as well as the "Office365Users.UserPhotoV2" is often quite bad, especially if is there are many images within the gallery.

How can I improve this?

P.S. I tried avoiding the Office365 connector by referring to the SharePoint Person column (Picture) and the performance was better, however it is not possible to display pictures nor in Power Apps app on a mobile device, nor in Teams.

Many thanks in advance!

    Hi @PowerDash ďĽŚ

As the App will load up to 100 user photos within the Gallery which is by design, the bad performance is imaginable. As long as you will display photos in the Gallery, you are not able to obviously enhance the performance. Will you please consider to add an Image control outside the Gallery and use it to display the selected user photo?

    Hope this helps.
