100I have a sharepoint list that acts as a database.
In the Canvas app I use a Gallery Control to display the items from Sharepoint. Everything works very well with the tools.
But when I want to edit an existing item, I can't take the existing value of a certain column as "Default", because on Sharepoint the situation looks like all columns are text columns. However, in the Canvas app I use a combo box (whose selection is later transmitted to Sharepoint as text).
Default = BrowseGallery1.Selected.TextColumn
gives an error.
Because in BrowseGallery1 TextColumn is stored as text (because on Sharepoint it is text).
How can I make it that in the edit view the existing value in the combox is preselected as default?
Maybe it would be possible to store a value as text in a value in the format Record? Unfortunately I did not find this in the documentation.
