Date picker to display the whole week

I'm currently creating an app for a cantine and I would like to display the menu for the whole week by using a DatePicker and change the displayed for the whole week (instead just one day). The idea is to use a Gallery to display the week's menu based on the chosen week above.

Any ideas of how to change the DatePicker to display the week?

Unfortunately the standard date picker control is not configurable. However, you can use an alternative date picker control. @PowerAddict 's date control is awesome

@Anonymous , there are UI changes as well as some functionality changes. Also, I have the foundational work done, so adding features shouldn't be too difficult. Let me know if you have any suggestions and I will be more than happy to try to get them added to the control.

Also, I would suggest using the v4 of this (not yet shared in the community), adding that version here for now.

@cds that's exactly what my component does! 2 galleries - one for days of week, and one for dates.
