Dear Sir/madam,

I have 2 Excel workbooks say EW1 and EW2 (both of them lying in separate shared foleders). There are many Excel sheets in both the workbooks. Using PAD, i want to read (copy) from a particular Excel sheet from EW1, and the "Write To" to another sheet / cells in EW2.

The flow is executed perfectly. No errors were observed. Sample Workflow Image enclosed.

However, the moment i opened the workbook EW2 (where i wrote, what i read from EW1), the Excel workbook is simply not opening and a blank screen appears. Screen shot enclosed.

Why this error is appearing? Please let me know.

I am using Excel 2016 with Windows 10.

Honestly. This seems like a memory issue. I wouldn't know why 2 excel files would cause a memory issue. But just out of chance, try a restart and run it again. I just opened 2 separate excels with the same specifications Launch Excel parameters, and they both opened.

Sir,
I had performed 2 restarts and 1 shutdown. Provided my Excel sheet to other user and even my IT Team. But they also couldn't recover the file - EW2. Finally had to take a backup file.
How can i clear / resolve memory issues in general, other than restarting the laptop?

Unless your computer is 8 years old, we shouldn't be having memory issues. What if you disable the first one and just try to open the second...do you have the same issue?

Sorry, just trying some trial and error, because it's not acting as suspected.

Check for some options which is an Excel issue and not a PAD issue.

Sir,
Just a simple tweak worked for me.
Instead of doing closing & saving of Excel Workbook in one go,
I just bifurcated the steps into 2, i.e. first to save the workbook EW2 and then close the workbook EW2.
On a lighter note :), can i mark my solution/answer as mentioned above as my Solution.
