How to Write Dates in Excel in General Mode

Good Morning. I have an excel sheet where I record several dates. The date column is formatted as "General".
In Powerpoint I have a DatePicker formatted to "dd/mm/yyyy" which has a strange situation.
If I use dates after today, including today's date, the PA writes the date correctly in excel and in the PA label, the date appears in the correct format.
If I use a date before today, PA changes the excel cell to "Date" and writes the date in mm/dd/yyyy format.
Even more complicated, the PA shows in the "Label", a number like "32548".

Why if the date is before today's date, the PA acts in this strange way?
How can I make the PA write to excel in "General" format like it does when the dates are not from the past?

Do you want to update the date field in 'dd/mm/yyyy' string format in an excel table?

If so, you could consider converting the DatePicker.SelectedDate to a 'dd/mm/yyyy' string first and then use this value to update the excel table:

Text(DatePicker.SelectedDate,"dd/mm/yyyy")
