hi,
i'm facing a very weird error.
i have the following code where i use a db list of stuff to clean up some temporary lists
// cleanup of Skills, Interests, Languages
ClearCollect(tmpSkillsToClean, Split(LookUp(Users,Email=User().Email).Skills,","));
ClearCollect(CurrentSkillsList, ShowColumns(Skills,"Skill"));
ClearCollect(tmpInterestsToClean, Split(LookUp(Users,Email=User().Email).Interests,","));
ClearCollect(CurrentInterestsList, ShowColumns(Interests,"Interest"));
ClearCollect(tmpLanguagesToClean, Split(LookUp(Users,Email=User().Email).Languages,","));
ClearCollect(CurrentLanguagesList, ShowColumns(Languages,"Language"));
After patching the db with the following code
Patch(
Users,
LookUp(Users,User().Email=Email),
{
Skills: Concat(Filter(tmpSkillsToClean, Value in CurrentSkillsList), Value & ","),
Interests: Concat(Filter(tmpInterestsToClean, Value in CurrentInterestsList), Value & ","),
Languages: Concat(Filter(tmpLanguagesToClean, Value in CurrentLanguagesList), Value & ",")
}
);
i found my Users db without any skill, interest or lang...
I checked my code and found out that CurrentInterestsList and CurrentLanguagesList are always empty!!!! I highlighted showcolumns function and it was an empty table and even just highlighting the db "interests" and "languages" they were empty as well... (in other part of the apps those db are not empty at all, for instance, there are dropdowns that load such data, and they work just fine)
The skill list is even more weird... the showcolumns function and the db Skills show up as empty, but CurrentSkillsList gets populated... (even if then the patch gets empty)
seems like a loading issue, i cannot think of any other thing, but how to fix this?
