I'm new to power apps and learning. I'm creating cascading drop downs.

I've used this code in the 1st drop down and received an "Expected Text Value" error. What am I missing here?

Distinct(MasterSchedule, harvest)

where MasterSchedule is my excel table, and Harvest is the column title.

my cascading drop downs will help sort from Harvest cascading to the next column Event(action), then allowing for a completion date to be added and inputted into my excel table.

Distinct() produces a one column table of unique values and the column is renamed Result.

What type of column is Harvest in your Excel table?

the column is a number, I've tried changing it to a text.

just started over from scratch and this error is not present. maybe I had to just close out power apps and reload to get the update form the formatting change to my table.
