This is a minor bug that has a temporary work around. If you have Gallery2 nested in Gallery1, the WrapCount for Gallery2 will not work properly for the very first record. Gallery2 will have a WrapCount of 1 for the first record and correctly display the WrapCount for the other records.
The temporary work around is to place your WrapCount property into a Slider and reference it from there.
Related bug: In a new flexible height gallery, Gallery1, I have Gallery2, which is a normal gallery. The height adjusts correctly for each row of Gallery1, except for the first. In the picture below, Consonant Sounds should have its own gallery space, but the Flexible Gallery doesn't think it's there.
Everything works correctly in Studio, but does not work correctly in the webplayer.
Update:
I have two Flexible Height galleries. One of them works fine: it has a Gallery nested inside it, but the nested Gallery has a WrapCount of 1. My other Flexible Height Gallery that is not working has a Gallery inside it that has a WrapCount greater than 1. I believe this second issue I'm having is closely related to my first post.
Unlike my first problem, the autosizing issue in problem 2 is not solvable by placing the data into a slider control.
Update: I found a temporary fix to problem 2. My Gallery2 nested inside a Flexible Height Gallery1 in the first record was not sizing properly because I set the Height of Gallery2 to be based on CountRows(Gallery2.AllItems).
I was able to resolve this by copy+pasting the Items property of Gallery2 in place of CountRows(Gallery2.AllItems). It's not pretty, but it works.
