Downloading new documents

Hey everyone, 

 

A quick description of what I'm trying to do:

I'm trying to create a PowerApps that can populate documents from a template and then save those documents to local storage. I want the user to be able to download the file they've just created from PowerApps without having to open up a separate application. I know PowerApps has a download function that requires a url and that SharePoint documents have links that can be accessed using flows. 

 

Before I try that method, I'm wondering is there a way for me to download the document to a location of the user's choice immediately after it has been created without going through SharePoint first?

    HI,

    PowerApps is a system that is designed primarily to have all output to the screen. This said I can think of two options.

    1) If it is a 1 page Document or screen you can set it all up on the add screen and select the "New Scree" then templates, then on of the print templates, but again this is one screen at a time.

    2) this is most likely the better option is to use a program that is included with O365 called MS Access. this will allow you to print as much as you want anywhere you want. it is not cloud based, but it has no limits on pages and if very powerful. It connects to SharePoint very easily and actually was the Bomb before Powerapps.
