Required SharePoint fields are filled in but cannot save

Hello,

I am customizing an SP online form with PowerApps. The required fields in the attached photo are being populated via PowerApps. However, although values are filled in and selected, I am still receiving the message that the fields are required and cannot be saved when I try to create a new SharePoint record.

Does anyone know why this is and how it can be resolved?

thanks,

Let's start with just one of them...

What is the Update property on the Datacard for Equipment Type?

    Hi Randy,

I checked one of the controls and it does not have an update property. The type chosen for all of these controls was "Single line of text" in SP and then I selected "Allowed values" in PowerApps for those controls.

    thanks,

This is why you have the issue you do. There should be a reference to your control there.

You must have changed more than just switching it to Allowed Values!

I would remove that field and add it back and start over and not alter anything in the datacard.  If you are trying to use Allowed Values, then you should only be altering the AllowedValues property of the datacard.  The rest is all done for you.

    Hi Randy,

I tried your suggestion with no luck. I also made those fields not required. However, this is not being reflected in PowerApps. Any other suggestions?

    thanks,

    Sherazad
