I have a client who insists on switching over from SQL Authentication to AD Authentication. We tested it out yesterday and lost connection with our SQL database, even though we are using the AAD connector type. We've determined that various other settings need to be configured on the AD side to authorise access for the User / SQL User in Active Directory but there does not seem to be a guide on which settings to apply. I've researched here and only one issue came close - and that was because they were using an outdated SQL connector.

Does anyone have a more comprehensive guide to the settings that need to be configured or adjusted to change from SQL Authentication, to AAD Authentication - on the Active Directory Settings side?
