Hi Folks,
I'm trying to build a Power Automate scheduled flow. I would like to control the run frequency of the flow (in hours-runs every x hours) in a SharePoint list. Is this possible?
Could anyone suggest the best way to achieve this?
Thank you.
Hi @rbn_nue ,
I've made a test for your reference:
1\My SP list
2\My flow
I set the frequency to 3, so the flow will run completely at 0, 3, 6, etc., and flow will be triggered at other times but will be canceled after the the condition action.
Best Regards,
Bof
Hi @v-bofeng-msft
Thank you so much for the suggestion. This will certainly work, although the flow will run every hour and 1 action consumed each time (call to SPO). I guess we could live with that, although could you confirm if this is the best we can do to make run frequency configurable?
This is the best solution I can offer at the moment. I think it is necessary to check the SP list every hour to ensure that the user's modification to the frequency can take effect in time.
Got it, thanks for confirming!
