HTTP Action Not Passing Values

Hello,

I'm using a HTTP Request action to allow child flows since there are many options for each child flow which cannot all fit into one flow. The HTTP action was working perfectly a couple days ago and then it started not passing through all the values into the child flow which is a problem. I've been reading the boards but can't find a solid answer. I've deleted the trigger and recreated it and still the same issue. Anyone have an idea?

    Hi @leanns,

    I haven’t seen such kind of issue so far. Have you made any changes on the JSON schema? Is it happening suddenly?

    How is your flow created? Please share a screenshot of your to help reproduce this issue.

    Best regards,

    Mabel Mao

    @v-yamao-msft,

    Thank you for your suggestion. Turns out all I needed to do was send in new information from the parent flow.

    In general though, is there a way when using a HTTP action that I could go to the child flow, wait until the child flow finishes and return values from the child flow back to the parent flow without the parent flow continuing on until it gets these values?

    Okay, I thought I had fixed this problem but I haven't or at least not for all the child flows. I really would appreciate the help. I still cannot pass two values through the HTTP and I even remade the entire flow and it won't pull them through. It won't pull through Due Date and Plant Manager values. Both of these values are coming from the form response but I'm changing them so they're not the straight from form response since they could be blank initially. I know the dynamic content has values because when the flow runs it shows the values in the run but it won't show up in the child flow. This works on the other flows but not this one. Any suggestions would be helpful because once this is successful this flow could go live for my company but until then it can't.

    Thank you so much.

    Hi, sorry to keep bothering you but I was wondering if you have any suggestions on how to fix this issue? I could really appreciate the help. I have no idea why I can't get the value to pass through and it's an important piece of the flow like the flow won't run properly without it.

    Thanks.

    Solved it. I just had to keep recreating the schemas to get it to finally work. Might have something to do with editing the flow after creating the schema and whatnot.
