Power Automate per user limitation?

I am doing some contract work for a company that has a process in place. For each of their clients they have a SharePoint site and each site has several libraries, each library is customized with Power Apps and each of the libraries has a couple of flows. They really just have me templating the sites and copying over the flows and apps.

Well.. there are over 100 clients and they will be adding many more. My concern is, as far as I know, that each licensed user cannot own more that 600 flows and just with the current amount of clients, there will be 1500 flows, not including new one's that come on board. They are all pretty simple, for example "When a new file is uploaded, copy the file to this main repository and update this list with x,y,z" or When this file is changed "Notify this user or that user, update this libary and that library, update this list"

Before I go and do all of this work and then run into a wall, I'd love to hear your suggestions. Am I worrying about a limitation that doesn't actually exist?

Well if they are really tied to using the set templates in Power Automate, then you could look into different licensing levels, ask to see if applying multiple licenses may increase the limit for a single user, or if you may need to set up a few service accounts to handle all the flows & work around the limits.

But I would check if they would be willing to set things up in Azure Logic Apps where there may not be as many limits.

Logic Apps is basically Power Automate in Azure. It also has much better consumption-based pricing if they later want to include premium flows with many end-users.

Heck, there may even be ways to reduce some of their more simple & redundant flows while making maintenance/updates much easier if you can create child worker Logic Apps/flows with the common flow logic & then set multiple Logic Apps with triggers from different SP sites to call on that child worker Logic App/flow with HTTP requests.

    Hello @josh4rim

Reviewing this documentation (Limits for automated, scheduled, and instant flows: Limits and configuration - Power Automate | Microsoft Learn )   It says this:

There's also more info about Power Automate limits on the link.

You might want to contact support to get more information on how to get that increased (or have a customized plan)

Check this for info about Power Automate pricing: Pricing | Microsoft Power Automate

Let me know if it this helps you!
