Save Excel not Working

Help me understand what I am missing here.

 

I asked Power Automate Desktop to open a CSV and subsequently "Save document as" Excel document format.

 

It saves it with the proper file extension.

 

However, each time that I open the file, I am presented with the very same CSV format I started with.

I feel like this used to work exactly as expected.

    Thanks for the response!  I tried that and still suffered the same consequences.  I made a little discovery this morning though.

     

    If I open the CSV to look at the data, then try and run the flow, it keeps as a CSV, when saved to Excel.

     

    If I do not touch the CSV at all, then run the flow, everything works properly.

     

    I have no idea why, but it does.

     

    Also.  If I try to run the flow on a CSV that has already had the flow run on it, the file will be a CSV.

     

    Weird.
