Hi, I'm trying to do something that I thought would be extremely simple but instead has had me scratching my head all morning.

All I want to do is take a static list of server names, who's assigned to it, and the date it was last updated from a SharePoint list:

I just want a button to update the "ThisItem.DateUpdated" value to "Today()" and submit it back to the list:

I've been searching online all morning and can't seem to get it to work.
Can anyone help me out please?

p.s. is this something I should be concerned about?

Hi @Anonymous

If you always want to use a button inside of a gallery to update to the current date, make the OnSelect property of the button:

Patch(spList,ThisItem,{DateUpdated:Today()})

FYI, avoid spaces in your list and column names, camel case is much better, ie. ServerUpdateAssignments instead.

Thanks!! I see what I did wrong. I was trying to do ThisItem.DateUploaded.
