Variable Excel Data Source

Hello!

I am building a Power App using at least 2 sources: Sharepoint list and Excel, Sharepoint being the main data source. My objective is to create a different Excel for each Sharepoint entry, to be updated via a Gallery from within the App.

TO create a different excel for each form was easy, a simple Power Automate form. But here comes the fun part: since Excel is a data source, how can I make it variable? so each time I create a new sharepoint entry and excel file, the app will know how to use that specific one.

Hope it is clear enough. Appreciate your assistance.

Best regards,

Valentin

    Hi @Valentin90 ,

    Tricky indeed - not only can't you refer to data sources dynamically, you also must connect them in Design Studio, so the only way would be in Power Automate and generate the Excel new file. Although they will not be connected to Power Apps, if you put them into a SharePoint Library, you can list the contents of this in a gallery.

    Thank you Warren for the very prompt response! Not really sure I understand what you are saying there, but I get there isn't really a solution for what I am looking for. In any case, thank you!

    @Valentin90 ,

    I am saying that the only way to do something close to what you describe is as I posted.
