Custom Action - Outlook - didn't called from Copilot

Hi,

I have configured custom Copilot with one Action - Outlook Create Contact (V2).
Everthing seem to be configured ok, Copilot writes me that he called the action.

But the action wasn't actually called and no contact was added.

- I have connections configured and using only Teams channel with Authenticate via Microsoft.

Is there any way, how to get informations what was called and where is problem?

Hi primicek,

To understand how the Copilot is providing response, i would suggest you to Turn on the Generative AI mode. With that enabled, you will be able to find the Conversation mapping on what is happening before the response is provided.

We have to make sure the Topic is triggered properly. We can find out that by viewing the Conversation mapping too. Please make sure, your Topic triggers and Descriptions are unique and make more context to Copilot.

In your Copilot,, Do u have a separate Topic that uses this Outlook Action (or) this is being used by Conversational Boosting topic?

Yes, that's exactly it. I didn't use Topic but had Copilot call the Action directly. In that case, Copilot always wrote "Calling Outlook Create Contact (V2) action," but in reality, it wasn't actually called.

If I added the action to the topic, it was correctly called.

This behavior seems strange to me, but I’ll try to adjust the instructions to ensure the correct Topic is always activated.
