Model Driven App Command Bar Edit - Xrm Toolbar Ribbon Workbench Does not display Show Chart

Hi All,
My grid view displays come commands that I don't need, such as Show Chart (see below)

I have installed Ribbon Workbench within XRM Toolbox, but it doesn't display a Show Chart button for edit.

I'm just looking for help, please? By the way, I tried the modern command designer but that tells me that edit of the button is not allowed because it is a "legacy" button.

Many thanks, Craig

I am afraid that is not possible as of writing this post. You can navigate to Table -> Charts and delete all the charts there, but even that would not remove the Show Charts button. I tried this personally on XrmToolBox as well, but Show Charts button was not listed there.

    Hi @caharland,

We cannot edit or remove the Show Chart button using the modern command designer because it’s not supported yet. Ribbon Workbench may not show the button for editing if it’s a protected legacy command. Customizing or hiding this button requires advanced ribbon XML customization or unsupported hacks, which are complex and risky.

    Two recommendations for you:

    1. Accept the limitation for now: Microsoft is gradually migrating commands to the modern framework, but some legacy buttons remain locked.
    2. Consider alternative UX approaches: If you need to hide or replace the Show Chart button, consider customizing views or using JavaScript web resources as a workaround, but these are advanced and not officially supported.

I am sure some clues I tried to give. If these clues help to resolve the issue brought you by here, please don't forget to check the box Does this answer your question? At the same time, I am pretty sure you have liked the response!
