Need assistance with filtering column from another table

I have a gallery with buttons that display Series 1 information from a SharePoint list.  On Select these buttons set varSelectedSeries to the selected Series 1 (Example: varSelectedSeries=0100).

There is another SharePoint list with Occupations that filters on varSelectedSeries as shown below.  In this example you can see all of the Series 1 are showing.

Occupations
Series 1Series 2Job Title
01000110HR
01000120Manager
01000130Nurse
01030140IT
01040150Maintenance

Finally there is an existing SharePoint list of applicants but the applicants only have an Occupation name and that is a choice/lookup column that feeds from the Occupation list.  What I am trying to figure out is how do I get a collection to pull all of the applicants that have HR for an Occupation based on a variable set to 0100?

So, if series 2 is in a gallery and you have a button you can:

    Set(gblVariable, ThisItem.Occupation)

That then sets the occupation name. You can then set the applicants gallery to your new variable.

What I am trying to accomplish is collecting all applicants that have an occupation that matches up with job title text in the 0100 series.

    Hi @Daily ,

According to your Description, we create the data source below.

We insert the Button and fill the formula below to apply the function you want.

    Set(var0100,Filter(Applicants,' Occupation' in Concat(Filter(Occupations,'Series 1' = "0100"),'Job Title',",")).Name)

    Click the Button.

We can see the result we expect through the Gallery.
