Hi

I have a requirement

- Reactivate a record which is in deactivated state

- Make some changes

- Deactivate it back

Can I know if this is achievable in MS Flow please?

Thanks

Vik

    There is no flow action right now for declaring or undeclaring a record.  There is a request for such an action, that you can vote on here.

    @arjunmusuvathy

    There is no "out of the box" action that allows you to declare/undeclare a record.  However, I believe that you can accomplish your gola by using the Send an HTTP request to SharePoint action.

    Thanks for the reply guys. I forgot to mention that I was referring to deactivating/reactivating Dynamics 365 CRM records. I have re-edited my post.

    Thanks

    Hi Vikram,

    You can use Invoke an HTTP request using Azure AD in following way :

    Capture.JPG

    For Activating record body : {"statuscode":1,"statecode":0}

    For Deactivating record body : {"statuscode":2,"statecode":1}

    Url of Request : /api/data/v9.1/entitypluralname(guid)

    Thanks

    Hi Vikram87, how are you?

    You also can add an update action to do this changes, even change the status to active to update.

    I did a test using this action, changing the account name.

    Hi Arjun,

    Did you figure out the action to deactivate a CRM record using flows?

    Hi @prashantik ,

    As @rohentz suggested to use Update a record you can with that or use what I have suggested via HTTP request using Azure AD connector.

    Thanks
