Hi Community

I have on one of my apps a form where I have built in radio buttons I would like to make these a required field. I have set to true in the settings however upon submission of the form it fails. Any ideas im at a loss?

On the OnSelect of your SubmitForm button, verify if the radio control has been selected as;

If(Radio1.Selected.Value="",Notify("Fill the Radio selection"))

When I submit a form i do so by using SubmitForm('Form Name'). The radio button updates the text data card value which is then hidden on the form. Would you be able to provide an example of how I would write this into what I already have?

If the radio control update a field on your form, Use this code on the submit button;

If(IsBlank(Datacaradvalue1.Text),

Notify("Fill the Radio selection"),SubmitForm('Form Name'))

Morning @eka24 I have done some testing with the code provided. When submitting the form without the required element set to true on the card it passes through, however when I change to true it doesn't submit. Any idea?

Please show the code. Also indicate whether you are using the radio directly in the formula or a textbox that picks from the radio button

The code is If(IsBlank(DataCardValue257.Text),Notify("Fill the Radio selection"),SubmitForm('Form Name'))

DataCardValue257 picks up the radio card selected which is a Yes or No button and fills DataCardValue257 which the written text from the radio button

This is the radio button that updates DataCardValue257 with Yes/ No, let me know if you need to view anything else in particular

Yes that is correct the radio button updates the data card.
The default of DataCardValue257 is Radio1.Selected.Value
