We bind out forms with a table form SQL, and not having the ability to SetFocus on DataCards, is hindering the usability. 

DataCards with the validation, would be great to set focus, so user can edit the control. I tried setting it to the DataCard, or the Input Text within the Datacard, and SetFocus does not work :(, any workaround to set focus to a field, the Forms is big, and having the user to manually scroll is a bad experience.

    Hi @FadiF 

     

    Unfortunately SetFocus does not currently support items within an EditForm or Gallery, so if you wanted to do this in this way you'd have to create the 'form' manually by creating a scrolling screen and inserting the various controls.

     

    I would suggest raising this as an Idea in the Ideas exchange, then have people vote on it, which will likely raise its priority for Microsoft to look at,

    I was wondering if anyone found a workaround. I am not gonna wait months for something and having a manual form defies the objective of using PowerApps connectivity with SQL, Manual forms and Patch is very unstable, we had many issues with Patch, to eventfully removed all code using it!
