Hi all,

I have a feeling I'm missing something very obvious, but I'm new to PowerApps and I would like some help please.

I have a gallery that I would like to filter the people who can see the info in this gallery. I only want the director and the HR to see this gallery when their approvals are pending, so I have this formula:

Filter('Position Request',

Status.Value = "Pending Area Director approval" && 'Area director'.Email = User().Email,

Status.Value = "Pending HR approval" && HR.Email = User().Email

)

The problem is neither the director or HR can see any info. When I change the formula to the command OR (having || between status value) it works.

But, I would like to both of them seeing even if it's under pending director or HR approval.

Could someone help me please?

Thanks a lot!

    Hello,
    PLease try as below:

    Filter('Position Request',
    Status.Value = "Pending Area Director approval"|| Status.Value = "Pending HR approval" , 'Area director'.Email = User().Email,
    HR.Email = User().Email
    )
