Create PDF

Hi all,

I have an issues with the connector 'convert file'.  I created a flow where I add single rows to an excel spreadsheet saved on onedrive and then I am going to to convert this spreadsheet to pdf.  The flow works however, the convert pdf connector does not consider the changes  I made to the exel spreadsheet. It is like it converts the excel file before I added the rows. Any ideas?

Regards,

Stefan

    Hello,

Are you using the Excel insert row action?  Can you show your Flow actions to see what file content you are passing into the create PDF?  As a test I would suggest doing a get file after this Excel action and before the convert to re-read the file and see if that helps.

    Hi @staubenb ,

I made some test on my side, it has the same issue with yours.

Then I added a 'Delay' action below the 'add a row into the table' action.

The issue can be solved by this method.

Please take a try with the following workaround:

    Re: Create PDF

I do an insert row on the excel table.  If I do an 'update file' or an 'get file' after the insert row action as suggested first, then I get the following error message: "message": "The file is currently checked out or locked for editing by another user."
But as said in my first post the action 'convert file' or 'convert file using file path' works, but does not include the inserted rows.

Interestingly  the delay action by one minute as suggested works.  Hmm.. yesterday I did already a delay action but only for 30 seconds and it didn't work. Does anybody know how long a file is 'blocked' by the system?
