LookUp query failure in the combobox control

I found this workaround:

I have 2 lists in SharePoint where List 1 performs a lookup against List 2. In powerapp in the edit form , lookup query is not working in combobox control.
1. Added a textInput control.
2. Changed the default setting to the textInput control added.

For some reason, this works.But I'll admit I would rather not have to have textInput control added.
So if anyone has any solution to my question that would be great.

    What do you mean lookup query failure in combobox control?

    Is the control in one form or what? You want to save the selected value to the SP list?

     

    I test on my side it works fine.
